Clubs and Organizations

Drama:   Join our Drama Club for an opportunity to participate in our annual musical.  You will learn stage direction, character development, and performance techniques.  Listen for an announcement to audition for our play!  Too shy to act?  Why not join our "Stage Crew" for an opportunity to work behind the scenes in lighting, sound, or props.

The Eagle's Eye:   Our school newspaper is published three times a year.  If you like to interview people, write articles, practice photography, and draw cartoons...this club may be for you!  If you have any questions, please see our teacher advisers, Mr. Pavlov or Mr. Lindsey.

Early Act: This is a service club which engages the students in a variety of volunteer activities, such as clothing drives, Thanksgiving food baskets, Holiday toy drive, and other community service projects. Mrs. Kinsley (A4)/Mrs. Merlino (A2) and Mrs. Nicolini (A11) are the contacts for this club.

Student Council: Do you enjoy working with students and adults? Are you an organizer? Then this club is for you! Work with the school administration to provide activities and services for students, school, and community.  Student Council arranges fundraisers via school dances, spirit days, turkey shoots and student-faculty sporting events.  If you have any questions, please contact either of the advisers, Mrs. MacArthur or Mrs. Porcella.

Willow Tree: The Willowtree Club is an education, leadership and support group for students in 6th through 8th grades. The 3 principles of the group focus on resiliency, self-care and kindness. We discuss substance abuse, tolerance, bullying, empathy, respect and other appropriate topics brought up by the students. The group is confidential and inclusive of everyone. The hope is that students feel accepted and that they belong. They also become role models for their peers. If you would like to join, please see Ms. Fleck in Guidance. We meet twice a month during lunch/recess.

Yearbook:    Open to 7th and 8th graders, this club meets as required during lunch and once a month after school.  You may select to work in one of the following committees: Marketing, Photography, Reporting, or Design.  Members help choose photographs, brainstorm ideas for the layout, edit spelling and grammar, select the cover; in addition,  they help advertise and sell the yearbook throughout the year.  Contact Mrs. Bucchianico or Mrs. Reome for additional information!

Aviation Club:  Would you like to learn about flying? Interested in being a pilot? If so, then consider joining our Aviation Club. Mr. Porcella has opened the club for 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students.
