Work Cited / Bibliography

Work Cited / Bibliography

What is the difference between a bibliography and a works cited page?

A bibliography is a list of EVERYTHING you used to research and compile your essay. It contains all of the books and sources you read, as well as those you may or may not have directly cited.

A works cited page lists only those sources actually cited in your paper. This means they must be quoted or directly referred to in order to be used in your works cited list.
